About Savannah Development Foundation
Savannah Development Foundation was founded in July 2008 as Limited Company By Guarantee and registered Charity with England & Wales Charity Commission. The Charity is set up to help and support Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic groups (BAMEs) in enterprise and business development advice and training, employment access and training, Networking, Volunteering, Mentoring, and access to “Self –Help In-Kind Volunteer Directory”. Another key aspect of our services is to build the empowerment and capacity building of BAMEs older people. Access to skills development and empowerment programmes are key to young people, especially young Africans, refugees and those with right to remain in the United Kingdom.
Key “Action to improve the quality of life of older and younger people” includes:

- Learning, education & empowerment

- Making a positive contribution and influencing decisions
The Charity is managed by local volunteers of diverse background and expertise. The main purpose to actively identify and support the empowerment of older people and in return to empower the younger generation in culture, tradition, happy way of life, life styles, eliminating unsocial habits, crimes, truancy for better society.
